I love Photoshop

I took this picture of my sister and my niece, and no matter where I stood, there was no possible way to get rid of the tree.

Thank goodness for Photoshop! I did what I could, but I think it worked!

There is one spot that I think I messed up, but if you didn't know, you might not notice. I'm not telling, either. :)

Treasure Chest

If you found a treasure chest, what would would hope was inside?
My mom was cleaning out her closet and found a "treasure chest" just for me. Guess what was inside?

A basket of knitting and crocheting supplies from my great-grandmother. Incredible. My grandmother and my mom preferred sewing to other needle arts, so I guess that's why they never used this stuff. It's like a knitting time capsule! And stuff I can actually use! Like this boquet of needles...

There are needles in here in sizes I don't even own yet. Like these size 4's...

...and patterns my great-grandmother made over 40 years ago. She even made notes on the patterns. I don't know what happened to any of her finished items, but it would be fun to make something she made way back when.

My great-grandmother passed away a year before I was born, so I never met her. But I'm sure we would have had great times knitting together if she were still here.

Here some more of the items in the basket:
A knitting needle case full of crochet hooks
I wasn't sure what these were at first, but it says Yarn Bobin, so I think these would be useful for intarsia projects?

An old Sominex bottle of stitch markers.
